BENCH-TOP PORTABLE FILTER The Water King conveniently attaches to any tap. The tube with a chrome-plated diverter simply screws onto your tap spout. This diverter allows 'normal' water to flow into the sink as usual. Just pull the diverter button to obtain fresh, filtered water flowing from the Filter spout. Simple push button operation between tap water and purified water. Spanner inlcuded. (Universal rubber tap fitting also available.)

Water King CU2: (twin) 3-stage system available. Can be traded-in for Reverse Osmosis under-sink later. Can be easily removed to a new home later.

TWIN UNDER-SINK FILTER The Water King CU2 is plumbed under the sink, and includes an elegant lever- action faucet that is easily installed on your sink. This tap/faucet is used just for drinking and cooking purposes. The 2-stage system has a one micron pre-filter for removal of suspended matter such as dirt and rust. It can also remove giardia and cryptosporidium bacteria, as they are over one micron in size. (There are about 40 microns in one hair thickness.) This pre-filter can enhance the life of the second filter cartridge, by reducing its 'work'. Water then passes into the 2nd stage for chemical removal and then flows out through the lever action faucet. Approved installation parts are included for normal installation. A 'housing spanner' is included for easy un-screwing of the filter housing for when cartridges need replacing. 'Quick-connect' tube fittings means there is nothing to unscrew. You can quickly remove the unit for filter replacement on your bench top. Just push-in, pull-out the two tube connections.

The Water King includes chrome plated (not plastic) spout, which is long-reach. Fittings are also chrome plated, as well as the tap diverter. Rubber tap fitting is available to suit any sink tap. Housing spanner is included (for easy unscrewing for filter replacements).

The Water King CU2 model includes complete approved parts (brass) for standard installation i.e. self-flaring tee-piece, non-return stop valve. Quick-disconnect tube fittings (push-in/out) are included, and chrome plated lever-action sink faucet (long-reach, swivelling), and housing spanner (for easy filter replacements).

A pre-filter is included in Twin Under Sink systems, which is for dirt removal. It is one micron. Also available: .5 micron, 5 micron, 10 micron, 20 micron (all nominal). 'Absolute' one micron or 0 .5 micron filters also available. One micron and 0.5 micron are capable of removing Giardia & Cryptosporidium bacteria.

If your water pressure is above average (over 100 psi) a pressure limiting valve is required.

Plumbing Connection Information

Plumbed-in Water King units are mounted on powder-coat steel brackets. Standard 12 ml brass approved plumbing parts are included in plumbed-in units. If mains pressure is above average (over 100 psi) then a pressure limiting valve should be included, which we supply at cost price (or plumbers keep them too).

Plumbed-in Water King models are available without the faucet, for very easy connection to a plumbed-in Water Cooler* (or icemaker fridge, or instant hot water unit). The outlet tube from the filter has push-fit connection to inlet of Water Cooler, via the 6 ml/1/4" food-grade plastic tubing which feeds the Cooler. Cooler is placed free-standing on floor, plugged in to power outlet. Chilled purified water, constantly on tap.

*Or you can have purified water feed BOTH the sink faucet and the plumbed Cooler. (See menu for Water Coolers page).
